Daniel Kong is a Principal at Blackstone Infrastructure Partners, where he focuses primarily on investments in transportation, telecom, and utilities. Since joining Blackstone in 2020, Mr. Kong has been involved in Blackstone’s investments in Carrix and Hotwire Communications.
Prior to joining Blackstone, Mr. Kong spent six years in investing roles at BC Partners and Hudson Executive Capital, where he focused primarily on private equity and public investments in the telecom and consumer sectors. Mr. Kong began his career at Citi, where he was an Analyst in the Technology, Media, and Telecom investment banking group.
Mr. Kong received a BS in Applied Economics and Management (concentration in finance) from Cornell University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and as a Dyson Scholar.
