SSA Marine’s number one priority is maintaining a safe work environment for every individual engaged in our operations.

Home SAFE

  • Launched in 2021, Home SAFE is a company-wide safety program dedicated to understanding and reducing risks to safety through engagement, standardization, and quality of controls. We want everyone to return home safe at the end of every shift.
  • Group-wide peer-to-peer audits of our Fatal 5 Standards have resulted in more than 50 audits being conducted with operating locations, with new locations entering the program going through a similar approach.
  • SSA Marine refinforces compliance levels, underpinned by requirements around safe people (training and competence), safe equipment (fit for purpose), and safe processes (we are supported by risk-based systems).
