SSA Marine is committed to fostering strong partnerships with our stakeholders—including customers, carrier partners, ports, and surrounding communities—to support decarbonization, reduce emissions and resource consumption, while fostering long-term business resilience.
Our progress
- Exceeded our first greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction target, reducing Scope 1 and 2 emissions intensity by 28% from our 2021 baseline
- Secured $85 million in grant funding to support the purchase of more than 110 pieces of zero-emissions equipment and charging infrastructure
- Implemented a comprehensive Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) management system to streamline incident reporting, audits, and compliance tracking across operations
